Do you use any sulphates / phosphates / caustic soda

Our products are free from all of the above. Our active ingredients like surfactants are sourced from naturally occurring sources. Refer to our ingredients list for full disclosure.

Can this product be used for all dishes and also my kids toys?

The plant-based ingredients found in Born Good’s dishwash gel contain zero toxins. They are completely safe for all kinds of dishes and can also be used to clean your kids cutlery.

Are your plant-based products as or more effective compared to traditional dishwash gels?

Our products are tested and found to remove grease and clean all kinds of dishes as well if not better than traditional dishwash gels

Is the amount of foam generated important? Why does Born Good lather less compared to traditional cleaners?

More foam does not mean more cleaning. Traditional cleaners use synthetic foam boosting agents which are not indicative of cleaning efficacy. Born Good products do not contain synthetic foam boosting ingredients and contain natural cleaning ingredients which is why they may foam less but will clean just as well.

Can I reuse the bottle?

Yes. Our aim is to encourage you to buy the bottle from us only once. Subsequent purchases should be of our refill pack. We also recommend reusing the bottle at home.

Is dishwashing liquid toxic?

It depends on which dishwashing liquid you are using. Most traditional dishwashing liquids contain toxic sulphates that can be harmful to sensitive skin. Born Good plant-based dishwash gel is free from sulphates and other toxins making it safe for all skin types.

Can dishwashing liquid be used in dishwasher?

Most dishwashing liquids include Born Good dishwash gel cannot be used in a dishwashing machine. We encourage you to check the usage guidelines prior to using your dishwashing liquid.
