At Born Good, we are always working towards creating a safe environment that provides a platform for people to do their bit for the planet. We believe these small actions can start at home, and so we set out to develop a range of sustainable, plant-based cleaners that are safe for us and our families. However, we still use plastic packaging for some of our products.
We have had to use plastic packaging to ensure that our orders reach their destination safely. Since most of our products are liquid, paper packaging is a no-no for us. And we didn't want to weigh down our awesome customers with extra bills, so we decided against aluminium too.
So to correct this issue with plastic based packaging, we have decided to take much needed action and go plastic-neutral!
What is Plastic Neutral?
For every piece of plastic used, an equivalent amount of plastic is picked up from our landfills and put through a recycling program. When we say we are plastic-neutral, it means we take responsibility for the plastic waste we bring into the market.
Why is this important?
Plastic is not biodegradable so it often ends up in landfills & oceans, harming our natural environments.
Unless we take measures to reverse them!
How we are going Plastic Neutral
We have joined hands with The Disposal Company - India's First Plastic Credit Platform dedicated to climate action, recycling plastic waste & empowering waste workers - to set up an infrastructure to collect, sort and reuse plastic waste.

We measure our plastic footprint on a quarterly basis by keeping a track of our plastic usage in kilograms.
